Scar of Beauty
One day you
awaken
to the that
change has come.
It arrives there in front of you,
undeniable, the way you always
thought it might be, and still,
it surprises you a bit.
For even though we imagine it so
change hold no agreements.
It just unfolds, as it will,
as it always has,
and all you can say is
‘yes!’
